Following the legal fallout, Britney, 42, said there was “no justice” in the outcome.

“My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!!” she wrote on Instagram on Sunday.

“The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!”

Britney made the comments on a photo of herself posing in a black lace thong with her back to the camera.

“I was actually right about nerve damage in my back!!!” she had started off the caption.

“I have to get [acupuncture] every day of my life now!!! Words and thinking too hard make it worse!!! If people only knew how I’ve had to crawl to my own door one time!!!”

The Overprotected hitmaker also posted the cover of Jennette McCurdy‘s book, I’m Glad My Mom Died.

The memoir is about the Nickelodeon alum’s experience with her late abusive mother.

“Stay nice folks!!! Good book,” Britney captioned it.

Hours later, she wiped her Instagram page without warning.

On Friday, the mother of two settled her legal dispute with Jamie, 71.

The pop music sensation was under a strict conservatorship with her father from 2008 to 2021 following a series of public meltdowns.

She continued to clash with Jamie over his legal fees and management of her finances during the conservatorship after it was terminated in 2021.

COURT WAR

Jamie wanted more than $2 million for hiring lawyers during the 13-year conservatorship as well as his current lawyer’s bills.

Britney was ordered to pay her father’s legal bills, according to TMZ.

Sources told the outlet that Britney is “furious” by the outcome after her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, told her she had a good chance of winning.

Britney has reportedly paid him approximately $4 million during his time as her lawyer.

The Sun can reveal the reason the case didn’t go to court was over fears that Britney would be forced to relive her tough past experiences.

“Her legal team decided the focus should be on protecting her from reliving the traumas of her conservatorship,” a source said.

In a 2021 court statement before the conservatorship was revoked, she said, “My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, including my management… they should be in jail.”

Britney Spears’ conservatorship timeline

In September 2021, Britney’s case returned to a Los Angeles courtroom where Judge Brenda Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father’s decision to end the conservatorship the month prior.

She ruled to rid Jamie of his daughter’s conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether.

Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: “Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears.

“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today.”

Following the judge’s decision, a temporary conservator was put in Jamie’s place for about a month.

In early November 2021, Jamie was back in court filing new legal documents that show he’s done fighting.

Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for stepping down but documents at the time showed that he was not seeking any further compensation.

On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in favor of the pop star, removing Jamie from the position of conservator without requiring any further mental examination from Britney.

Jamie lost sole control over Britney’s finances in a February 2021 court ruling.

He stepped down as conservator of her estate in August of that year, meaning he could no longer make decisions about her life or money.

Britney’s conservatorship ended in November, as a judge ruled in favor of her finally taking full control of her life and career.

“I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears,” Judge Brenda Penny said in court at the time.

“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today.”
