Bodybuilder and IFBB WBB Pro, Michaela Aycock, pays attention to her progress. In a before and after comparison photo on Instagram, she said “October 2018 & October 2024. Nothing easy, fast, or fancy.. But working on something that is lasting. Receipts from training have been posted every session that was had between. I don’t write out any special explanations, and I don’t claim to know it all, but what I do know is effort and meticulous attention to detail in every aspect with purpose whether right or wrong, and the willingness to take as long as it takes, because when you love what you do there is no rush. Figuring it out is a forever thing. Different camera angle and posing angle so it probably doesn’t count.” Here’s how she keeps herself looking and feeling fit.
She makes an impact and inspires others, while remaining humble. “It is always pretty crazy to me that I can have even a pinch of impact on someone’s life just through the screen of a phone sharing nothing more than my heart through my work, and I’ve gained a lot of new people on here so I thought it would be important to know where it all started for me, because without this, I truly know I would not be the person or bodybuilder I am today,” she said on Instagram.

“You don’t need momentum when you have endurance. 📸 to my dad who was instructed to just “aim and click the white circle” 🤣,” she said on Instagram. According to the National Institute of Aging, “endurance exercises improve the health of your heart, lungs, and circulatory system. They also can delay or prevent many diseases that are common in older adults such as diabetes, colon and breast cancers, heart disease, and others.”
She continues to learn new things and work on herself. On a video of her lifting extremely heavy weights and going through the motions of training in the gym, she said “the beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you. @tbjpnutrition @tbjpclothing @tbjpusa Michaela10 @liquidsunrayz LSRAYCOCK @aquarterturntotheright @amberpbeauty_,” on Instagram.
She remains consistent. “The best way to do it, is to just do it. And then just figure out how to do it better time and time again,” she said on Instagram. She goes on to say on another post, on a video of her working hard in the gym, “when things are down, you can’t hit the panic button, and when things are up, you can’t relax. You just have to stay consistent.”
She shows up for herself. On a video on Instagram of her lifting, she said “acts of everyday courage often go unnoticed, but they are still just as noble and valuable, even without public recognition or applause.” She knows it’s important to be proud of yourself and to keep putting in the work.
