Amanda Machado is a well-known athlete, an IFBBPRO Women’s Physique competitor, and she’s even the Nutrition Specialist & Marketing Director for Ageless Forever. “How many times have we complained about the work we got to do to achieve what we want!? Many! Get out of that funk and remember that becoming successful in ANYTHING you do starts with your mindset, your attitude. LETS FCKIN GO 👊🏻,” she said on Instagram. Here’s Amanda’s routine that keeps her looking and feeling her best.
She’s incredibly disciplined. “Discipline: The root of all good qualities. The driver of daily execution. The core principle that overcomes laziness and lethargy and excuses. Discipline defeats the infinite excuses that say: Not today, not now, I will do it tomorrow. DISCIPLINE,my very first tattoo. #disciplineequalsfreedom,” she said on Instagram.
She pushes herself during her workouts, and encourages people that she works out with to do the same. “Every single set, every single rep, pushing beyond limits #bodybuilding,” she said on Instagram.
She focuses on strength. “Strength is one the main characteristics of the female mind & body, represented in many different ways…#Women #Bodybuilding 🌸,” she said on Instagram. “Your body fat percentage will increase over time if you don’t do anything to replace the lean muscle you lose over time. Strength training can help you preserve and enhance your muscle mass at any age,” according to the Mayo Clinic.
She practices gratitude and manifestation. “The Power of Manifestation 👇🏻✨ 🐅I spend so much time in gratitude for all I have but I spend even more visualizing the future. I start my day whispering in @domsupersliced ears how grateful I am for him, I look at my body and thank it for keeping up with me every single day through the most intense workouts and long days at work. I tell my family & friends how much they mean to me… OFTEN,” she said on Instagram.
She works her arms to the limit. “Biceps day is usually thrown in with my back day, I hit back 2x week so they are worked 2x week as well 👇🏻I don’t have arms day, but I focus on hitting at least 12 to 16 sets per week to keep their size. Triceps are definitely a must as they are a bigger part of your arms. You probably heard “want bigger arms? Train your triceps!”. Well, it’s a combo. And Bics and Trics have the same attention in my workouts, even though they don’t have a full day for themselves,” she said on Instagram.
