Bloc Party will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2005 album Silent Alarm with a 2025 North American tour. They’ll also be bringing Metric along, who will play their 2009 album Fantasies in full.
Bloc Party’s tour will commence with an appearance at Los Angeles’ Just Like Heaven festival on May 10th. They’ll then link up with Metric and head east for shows in Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Toronto (where Metric will headline, and Bloc Party will open). The pair of rock bands will continue their run with shows in Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Portland, and more. The tour ends with a June 17th date in Seattle; see the full list of tour dates below.
Tickets for Bloc Party’s 2025 tour with Metric will first be available via an artist pre-sale running on Wednesday, February 12th at 10:00 a.m. local time; fans can sign up for pre-sale access to their desired show date(s) on Bloc Party’s official website. A Live Nation ticket pre-sale will follow on Thursday, February 13th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster (use code DUET). Tickets will then go on sale for the general public on Friday, February 14th at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Though both Bloc Party and Metric will be bringing full album playthroughs on the tour, they’ve also promised “greatest hits” during their sets, as well.
