It’s that time of year again, and John Lewis have shared their iconic festive ad, featuring a bit of blink-182 sentiment in there for good measure.
Every year, it’s the one everybody is waiting for.
As Christmas adverts get rolled out, John Lewis is usually the one that tugs at the heartstrings the most. And this year is no different.
Though it also features a very familiar tune at its core.
Telling the really lovely story of a man trying to learn how to skateboard so that he has something in common with his incoming foster daughter to make her feel comfortable in their new home. It’s a beautiful sentiment and one that comes with a vital message at this time of the year when family is everything.
But it also has blink-182’s ‘All The Small Things’ soundtracking it.
Well, it’s a really great cover of the song, performed by Postmodern Jukebox, that adds that little bit of extra love and heart to the ad.
Have a little watch for yourself, it’s really quite something.
