Black Veil Brides have shared a sequel to their 2012 track ‘Saviour’, and it’s a beautiful indicator of how far they have travelled over the last decade.
Black Veil Brides have released a new track, and it looks to the past as much as it guides them into the future.
The song is called ‘Saviour II’, and serves as a follow-up and sequel to ‘Saviour’, a track that appeared on the band’s 2012 album ‘Set The World On Fire’.
The original was a slow-burning ballad, and the sequel still inhabits that space whilst taking things to another level of emotional capability.
From the string quartet, which even features guitarist Jinxx at one moment, to the gorgeous melodies conjured by Andy Biersack, it’s a stunning companion as well as a sign of just how far the band have travelled.
With all the lessons learned along the way, and the music that has been created because of it, the song serves as a palate cleanser of sorts for what the band have up their sleeves moving forwards as much as a celebration of everything they have achieved up until now.
