Billy Ray Cyrus, the man famous for one country song but more importantly as the father of Miley Cyrus, is reportedly ‘dead’ to his daughter after a vile audio clip leaked where Billy Ray Cyrus spews hate at his daughter and his ex-wife.
No child should have to ever hear their parent spew this sort of vitriol at them and if reports are to be believed, Miley Cyrus is completely justified in cutting her father off from her life. The leaked audio clip surfaced last week and Billy Ray confirmed last Wednesday that it was his voice in the clip.
In the clip, Billy Ray Cyrus can be heard speaking in the third person while only referring to Miley Cyrus is “that devil” and saying things like “everyone knows that devil’s a skank.” According to Radar Online, it wasn’t necessarily the comments about Miley that hurt her the most but it was the comments about her mother that got to her.
Billy Ray could be heard calling Miley’s mother a ‘s—‘ and a ‘w—-‘ and a ‘cheat.’ One insider source reportedly told the Daily Mail that Miley wasn’t at all surprised by her dad’s comments.
The insider said “honestly, Miley is not surprised that these words came out of his mouth. Miley is mad, sad and also not giving a s—, all the emotions are there. Miley is over caring about what Billy Ray has to say about her, her mom or her siblings. Miley is as independent of a woman as possible, and she refuses to let her dad, or any man, break her heart.”
Billy Ray Cyrus has been riding the coattails of his daughter for far, far too long. She has been a mega star for pretty much her entire life, since her Disney Channel days, and she is currently rumored to be the Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show act which is a testament to her star power. Meanwhile, we’re sitting here talking about how Billy Ray is ‘dead’ to her.
Some people on X, formerly known as Twitter, are saying that Bill Ray failed her as a father. Those are just the opinions of random netizens but a lot of people have expressed strong words about Billy Ray since the audio clip emerged.
