Billie Eilish’s life goal is to have children.
The 20-year-old singer recently opened up about her dream of having kids of her own one day.
She is so determined to become a mother that she said she’d “rather die” than not have kids.
In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Eilish opened up to the outlet about her future goals.
Billie Eilish Is Determined To Become A Mother
Eilish admitted, “[I would] rather die [than not have kids]. I need them.”
The desire to become a mother has always been on Eilish’s “To-Do” list, but it is also something she “dreads.
“The older I get, the more I experience things, I just think, uuggh, what am I going to do when my kid thinks that this is the right thing to do and I’m, like, no, it’s not! And they won’t listen to me,” Eilish revealed to the magazine.
Billie Would “Rather Die” Than Be Childless
In the same tune, she expressed how “scary” it is to be young in the USA right now.
Women’s rights are being taken away with the threat of Roe v. Wade being overturned by the Supreme Court.
Senseless mass shootings occur daily in the country, and racism is still very prevalent.
“Why is it OK to be scared to go to school?” she asked while reflecting on the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. “You go to school and be prepared for a life-changing traumatic experience or dying. What? Who? Where is the logic there?”
Eilish is very close with her family. Her brother Finneas O’Connell is her right-hand man when it comes to making music and performing.
Her mother Maggie manages the environmental aspect of her live shows.
Billie Admits She’s Annoyed By Her Mom, But Loves Her
The Grammy-winner admitted she finds her mom annoying because “she’s my mom,” but in the same breath, Eilish expressed gratitude for her mom.
“But I love her, she is like a book, she knows everything, and I’m so grateful because I don’t know s**t about s**t,” she acknowledged.
Fans of Eilish know that she and Finneas were both homeschooled by their parents. She passed her high school equivalency exam at 15-years-old.
Unlike most 18-year-olds who are preparing to leave home for the very first time and embark on their college careers, Eilish was singing to sold-out crowds and touring the world.
“Usually when you turn 18 you go to college and leave your whole family behind,” Eilish said. “And it is so nice that we all get to travel the world.”
This year, Eilish made history as the youngest ever headliner at Coachella. She will make history once again at the Galstonbury festival as she will become the youngest ever solo headliner.
The “Bellyache” singer recently split from her boyfriend Matthew Tyler Vorce after a year of dating.
The Blast previously reported on the split and whether or not cheating contributed to the breakup.
Vorce took to Instagram on May 31st, 2022 to tell his side of the breakup story.
“Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that,” he wrote on his Story. “Creating rumors and LYING on the internet is dangerous.”
That apparently wasn’t enough for Eilish’s fanbase who continued to attack Vorce and accused the actor of cheating.
He hit back again saying, “The fact that thousands of people take time out of their day to write the most heinous things on someone they will never know posts is the most cowardly thing you can do.”
