Reportedly taken on Navajo Nation land, a photograph alleged to be of Bigfoot was captured at the end of a small canyon in Arizona. The photo was recently revealed to the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization (RMSO).
A woman recently shared the photo of the alleged Bigfoot and the story of how it was taken by her aunt two years ago after she heard some strange noises and decided to investigate.
“Ok folks… I am writing this because my Aunt took this picture about 2 years ago now… no lie!!!” she wrote to the RMSO. “This is in a canyon area between the communities of Cornfields and Greasewood, AZ on Navajo Nation. She was out with the livestock South of our homestead and HEARD strange noises where she was. She walked to the edge of the of this small canyon and SAW this thing and IT LOOKED UP at her!!! She is older so her only thought was get a quick pic and get the heck out of the area.
“She was able to chase the sheep back and did not go back for a long time. She did tell the family about it and we were loading up with rifles but were told NO, leave it alone as no one was sure what it was. I heard it was seen again a few days later, but I’ll tell you, in this area of the rez weird things are seen and heard quite a bit.
“I didn’t think this pic would make its way on social media but I guess I’m not surprised either. We’ve been told of stories from Steamboat, Greasewood, and Navajo Station, but always, DON’T BOTHER THEM!!! We try not to walk alone and we try to always carry protection if we do (our dogs are getting old).
“You don’t have to believe what I write and to me it doesn’t matter. All I know is what I’ve told you is what happened that day and I truly believe that they are out there and I will just leave them alone.”
Since the image was shared on YouTube there have been over 200 comments. Many of them expressed their own experiences and encounters with Bigfoot in the area.
“When I lived in Arizona, I learned to pronounce the Mogollon Rim from natives before I saw how it’s spelled. It sounds like mug-ee-on. At the time, I hadn’t heard of the monster(s) but have since become a believer,” one viewer wrote. “Now I’m in Durango and really enjoy learning about these creatures that I might encounter sometime and won’t be shocked so much but rather well prepared for it.”
Another person recalled, “We had a run-in with something like that down in east Texas and my little cousin still won’t talk. Whatever he saw scared him so bad he stop talking. I saw the something he did but he won’t talk to me about it. I’ve tried asking him questions and he p—— his pants the first time and after that he stopped talking, so I just stopped asking him.
“What I saw was a good 9ft tall arms passed [sic] his hips more by his knees and hairy. That thing ran after us screaming and knocking down trees as it chased us. I’ll never tell my cousin this but I think there was 2 of them. I don’t know everything has never been the same since that night. To anyone who doesn’t believe me, go to east Texas and spend a few nights out in the woods. I don’t care, because nightmares are real and pray you never come face to face with one. I wish we had never gone hunting that night. I’d still have my cousin.”
Someone else reported seeing Bigfoot in Arizona and wrote, “I stood and watched a Sasquatch for over 40 minutes in Azusa Canyon Southern California not 20 miles as a crow flys from downtown Los Angeles…”
“Back in the Canyon I pulled over to look at the river (I was going fishing) when I got to the edge of the Canyon I looked down it was about 110-120 feet down to my left sitting on a rectangular boulder rocking back and forth! Long reddish brown patchy hair on its back… huge rectangular muscles on both sides of its spine! 1992 San Gabriel Mountains Azusa Canyon… I waited for someone to flag down driving by but no one did so after awhile I went on my way fishing. True story.”
