Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers suggest that as excited as fans are about the new soap set to premiere in just over a week, it looks as though CBS is just as pumped.
The network released a sizzling hot new promo showcasing its new soapy line up, and BTG is highlighted very well in the preview.
The video starts off with BTG’s Fairmont Crest gates opening up, as the words, “CBS Daytime Is Soapier” flash across the screen with an emoji, hiding its eyes.
Of course, BTG’s Dani Dupree, played by Karla Mosley boldly opens the video by stating, “I am done with being disrespected,” as the scene shifts to Real Housewives of Potomac’s Karen Huger snapping her fingers as she feistily notes, “Welcome to Fairmont Crest!”
This unleashes a whirlwind of eye-catching clips from all three of CBS’s daytime dramas, BTG, along with The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful, as they unfold quickly within the 25-second promo.
From scary moments like B&B’s Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) locked in a cage to Y&R’s Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sizzling bedroom scenes, plus BTG’s Dani Dupree slapping her husband’s mistress-turned-fiancé, Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) and many more dramatic scenes, the words, ‘Flirtier’, ‘Dirtier’, ‘Sexier’, ‘Riskier’, and then, ‘Soapier’ flash across the CBS promo.
The preview winds down with Y&R’s Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) in a loving embrace, as Diane seductively states, “Oh, I like the sound of that”.
However, the big close of the video centers on BTG’s Dani throwing champagne (or wine) in the face of her husband, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett), as he sits at a table, looking completely stunned.
BTG’s big premiere unravels on CBS come Monday, February 24 at 2 p.m. ET. The new soap will follow Y&R, airing from 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET, and B&B, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. ET.
