Beyond the Gates is the newest soap opera to hit TV, and there are already some casting updates!
The series just arrived on CBS this year, and has already pulled in some promising viewership numbers.
The series follows a powerful and prestigious family that reigns over a posh gated community with juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered.
Now, there’s at least one cast member who is being recast.

Maurice Johnson, who plays Nicole’s (Daphnee Duplaix) husband Ted, is being replaced by Keith D. Robinson, per Deadline.

You may already know Keith for a string of Christmas movies (including two Sister Swaps), the third installment in the Mimic franchise and the role of Bill Cosby in the 2004 Fat Albert movie. He also starred in ABC’s A Million Little Things and movies like Dreamgirls and All Eyes on Me.
