Beyoncé’s masterful new album, COWBOY CARTER, is now available on vinyl.
The limited-edition vinyl editions of COWBOY CARTER come pressed in three colors — red, white, and blue — and feature alternative album artwork. Additionally, the album is available in a standard black vinyl format (sold out on Bey’s website, but still available on Amazon). There are also limited edition CD copies, and several bundles with COWBOY CARTER-related merch. You can find more details on Beyoncé’s website.
Over the weekend, commemorating the album’s physical arrival, Beyoncé signed a number of copies at Supervinyl in Los Angeles. See the photos she shared of the moment — and check out the artwork and color vinyl options available — below.
Previously, there was some controversy about physical editions of COWBOY CARTER, as fans discovered the vinyl omitted several tracks, including “YA YA,” “SPAGHETTII,” “THE LINDA MARTELL SHOW,” and “FLAMENCO.” Currently, those songs are still not listed on the tracklist for the vinyl sold on Beyoncé’s website.
Featuring tracks like “Texas Hold ‘Em,” covers of “Blackbird” and “Jolene,” a Miley Cyrus duet, and more, COWBOY CARTER — one of our March 2024 staff picks — has earned wide acclaim since its arrival. Currently sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the album is also topping the Top Country Albums chart, marking the first time in history a Black woman has occupied the spot.
