Benson Boone has responded after Mark Zuckerberg performed at his wife’s birthday party dressed as the singer.
Mark Zuckerberg gave his wife, Priscilla Chan, a birthday surprise to remember on her 40th by channeling Benson Boone’s iconic look from the 2025 Grammy Awards. The Meta CEO recreated Boone’s memorable performance by donning the same tight, sparkly baby-blue jumpsuit.
In a video shared on Instagram on February 28, Zuckerberg was seen entering the stage in a classic tuxedo. To the delight of guests, he dramatically ripped off the tux to reveal the glittering jumpsuit underneath.
He then jumped onto a piano and started singing, as the crowd (including Chan) erupted in laughter and applause. “Your wife only turns 40 once!” Zuckerberg wrote in the caption, tagging the singer-songwriter to thank him for the outfit.
The exact song he was singing in the viral video remains unclear. While the clip is set to Boone’s latest single, ‘Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else,’ Zuckerberg’s animated performance aligned closer with ‘Beautiful Things,’ another Boone hit performed at the Grammys.

The former American Idol contestant was as shocked as anyone by the tech mogul’s unexpected tribute. Sharing the video to his Instagram Stories, the 22-year-old wrote, “I can’t believe my eyes. You’re wild for this.”
Boone also expressed concern for Zuckerberg, commenting, “I hope his nuts are okay. That thing is so tight.” The remark referenced the jumpsuit he sported in the video, a nod to Boone’s own struggles with a similarly snug outfit during his performance at the 67th Grammy Awards on February 2.
At the time, the pop star had joked about his outfit mishap, posting, “Sorry for adjusting my jumpsuit so aggressively on stage tonight. That thing was aggressively restricting in certain areas.”
In other news, Mark Zuckerberg has announced that both Instagram and Facebook will soon roll out a Community Notes feature.
