The divorce between Hollywood A-list couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez isn’t going all that smoothly.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got married in the summer of 2022 after previously dating and splitting up two decades earlier.
According to reports, the divorce between the pair has “not been amicable” and the duo are no longer on speaking terms as their business managers attempt to hash out the details.
Due to the lack of communication between Affleck and Lopez, it’s “really slowing down” the divorce process, says TMZ.
“Ben and Jen’s icy relationship is really the only thing preventing this from being a quickie divorce. They have a prenup and the only asset they have to divide is their Beverly Hills mansion, which is on the market.”
“Our sources say J Lo and Ben have NOT hired lawyers and are instead having everything go through their respective business managers, who are trying to figure out the financials behind the divorce but it’s complicated because the principals are not talking.”
Both Affleck and Lopez have made significant real estate moves in recent weeks, as Ben purchased a home in Los Angeles for $20 million and Jen sold her New York City penthouse for $23 million.
Even though their romantic relationship is coming to an end, their professional one isn’t as Jennifer Lopez’s new movie Unstoppable, premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, was produced by Affleck’s company Artists Equity.
Another film that Lopez has in production, Kiss of the Spider Woman, is also being made under Artists Equity’s umbrella.
