It appears to be the end of the road for Bella Thorne and her fiancé Benjamin Mascolo.
After their engagement in 2021, Thorne and Mascolo reportedly called off their engagement and broke up their relationship.
According to inside sources, the pair cited no reasons for the split, but they parted ways amicably.

Benjamin Mascolo Announced It On His Social Media
Although he did not tag her or write her name, Mascolo explicitly disclosed the end of his three-year relationship with former “Shake It Up” star, Thorne.
Through an Instagram post, he reflected on how he met “the most beautiful human being” three years ago and how it had been a humbling experience to have her grow “by his side.”
“Only God know how many hearts I’ve broken and how many people I’ve hurt selfishly following my ego, of all the things I could and should do better, and of that I take full responsibility, for all my sins and mistakes – but I know now it was all part of a bigger plan that guided to where I am today,” he wrote, per E News! “I am now ready for a new chapter of my life and have complete faith in what is meant to be, I choose the path of truth above all.”
He also expressed that falling in love was the most beautiful gift to experience and relationships, just like people were a “cycle of life.”
He concluded, “It was meant to be and it was beautiful. I only wish the best for this person and I will always be there for her.”
While Thorne didn’t explicitly address Mascolo’s statement, she posted a cryptic post on her Instagram story where she featured herself complaining about waking up “alone.”
The actress recently shared a post begging fans to stop asking for reasons behind the break-up as “it is a personal matter.” Her ex, Mascolo in a bid to show that he still cares for her, also shared her message on his instagram stories, asking fans to respect Thorne’s space.
Bella Thorne & Benjamin Mascolo Got Engaged In 2021
Thorne initially teased an engagement in the early parts of 2021 after she shared a picture of the singer and captioned it, “big announcement coming soon. I’m so happy.” She also added several ring emojis to the caption.
Three months later, Mascolo and Thorne got engaged after the Italian singer went on bended knees with a massive diamond ring. The couple announced this happy news on their social media alongside a video that featured Thorne’s reaction to getting engaged.
“Yay! We’re getting married. Celebration in Italy and America both,” Benjamin said in the video clip, prompting Bella to reply in agreement, “Yes. I love you so much. Now give me a kiss.”
Thorne also posted a close-up picture of her ring, captioning, “he knows exactly my style.”
The “Famous In Love” actress also reciprocated Mascolo’s actions by buying him his engagement ring.
The jewelry was a star-studded one interlocked on a T-shaped gold band.
In a now-deleted post, he showed off his ring and a picture of Thorne kissing his left finger where the bling was on. “She got me an engagement ring,” he said in a caption.
Mascolo & Thorne First Linked In 2019
Thorne became romantically involved with Mascolo in 2019 after she ended her open relationship with singer Mod Sun. They first met at Coachella, and Mascolo shared with Icon magazine that Thorne immediately became his muse.
“We met at Coachella, and I immediately knew she was different from all the other women I met in my life.”
The duo became Instagram official in June 2019 when the Disney star posted a picture of herself with the musician on a boat.
“I’m very happy with you,” she captioned the picture, adding a blue emoji.
Mascolo Was A Natural On The Set Of ‘Time Is Up’
In 2021, Mascolo made his first acting debut by starring alongside Thorne in the movie “Time Is Up.”
While speaking about the movie, Thorne shared that he was pretty natural at it despite his first time being on set.
“He was a natural right off the bat, and that takes a long time to learn in this industry. We never had a fight the whole entire time we were filming, like there was never a new issue, so it was really just smooth sailing, the whole time,” Thorne added.
She concluded, “I have also never worked with someone that I’ve dated. So for me I was like, ‘I do not know.’ But it was great.”
Mascolo also shared that he and Thorne “fell in love more” as they worked together on set.
“It was the first time we would work together, and so many hours a day, we have a lot of stress and a lot of responsibility, and we just went for it,” he said.
“We came out on the other side and we were stronger as a couple,” he told TooFab. “It was a win-win on everything.”
