Beck has announced his first-ever orchestra concert in New York City. The show will be held on Monday, July 29, in Stern Auditorium on the Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. The Empire State appearance follows a series of summer dates centered around eccentric symphonic arrangements of classics and deep cuts from the musician’s expansive catalog of music, ranging from 1993’s Golden Feeling to his latest studio effort, 2019’s Hyperspace

The symphonic experience will pick up on July 3 with a show at Chateau St. Michelle Winery in Seattle. A pair of West Coast follow-ups are slated for July 6 at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and July 10 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, Calif. The remaining shows will occur on the other side of the country, beginning July 23 at Tanglewood in Lenox, Mass., with featured accompaniment from The Boston Pops Orchestra.

Before Beck’s Big Apple orchestrational debut, he will perform alongside The Philadelphia Orchestra at Philly’s Mann Center on July 25 before trekking down to Vienna, Va.’s Wolftrap venue, for a gig with The National Symphony Orchestra on July 27. Beck’s current trajectory of symphonic dates follows a similar format to artists before him, such as Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros, Trey Anastasio, and others, committed to expanding upon their compositions in a unique live format.

Tickets for Beck’s NYC orchestra concert go on sale beginning May 23 at 11 am ET.
