Beauty School have announced their new album, ‘From Now On’, which arrives October 03 via Slam Dunk Records.
The band’s sophomore album has been announced via the release of their brand-new single, ‘Lately’.

‘Lately’ is a particularly pertinent one for the band’s guitarist Dan Shaw, who explains it was inspired by themes of workplace neglect, saying:
“The playful nature of the melodies contrasts heavily with the themes of drug use, workplace neglect and corporate life.
“I had recently started a job in which I was told I’d have incredible opportunities, but the reality was very different. There was this expectation that I would work harder than everyone else, putting in extra hours without any support.
“When I reached out for help, it was like I was being ignored, and instead, I was given PowerPoint slides…
“‘Lately’ is a comment on how much of a toll corporate life can have on a person and how poor support mechanisms in modern life lead to drug misuse and dependency.”
Explaining how the band see themselves in the run-up to their forthcoming record, which follows on from the band’s 2022 debut ‘Happiness’, frontman Joe Cabrera has added:
“We are angrier, and we are changed but we are more ambitious than we have ever been. We have come through some really tough times to get here.”
“Everyone has those things in their life for better or worse that they can’t seem to let go of. Friendships, relationships, addictions. Sometimes all of the above.
“‘From Now On’ is all about letting go. Wiping the slate clean and moving forward. Even when it feels impossible… There’s no before, no after, just from now on…”

Speaking about the collab more specifically, the band have added:
