Beach Bunny are back with a reflective new song, “Clueless.” The latest release from the Lili Trifilio-fronted project digs into the passage of time and the unique loneliness of living in your late 20s. Stream it below.
Following this summer’s “Vertigo,” the track arrives with a music video directed by Bertie Gilbert that intercuts footage of a birthday party with home videos. “I insisted that the faces of my parents couldn’t change, but I love how I look like my mama when she was my age,” Trifilio sings. Elsewhere in the song, she digs further into the relatable difficulties of this chapter of life, lamenting living far away from her best friend and crying in public.
In addition to dropping “Clueless,” Beach Bunny announced the return of their Chicago Pool Party Festival, which is set to expand into two nights in its second year. The event will be held at Thalia Hall on December 28th and 29th and will feature performances from Beach Bunny, Aly & AJ, Rafaella, and Honey Revenge. More guests are set to be confirmed in the coming months.
A ticket pre-sale (get your code here) for the Chicago Pool Party Festival is ongoing, with the general on-sale taking place on Friday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. Central Time via Ticketmaster.
