beabadoobee has unveiled “Ever Seen,” the third single from her upcoming album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves. Stream it below.
Following previously released singles “Take a Bite” and “Coming Home,” “Ever Seen” is a rootsy, sweet tune that sonically dips into country pop territory. The track was written while beabadoobee was on the road opening for Taylor Swift on “The Eras Tour.” Like the other songs waiting on This Is How Tomorrow Moves, it was produced by Rick Rubin.
“I spent some time waiting for your face/ Don’t want to risk just making all the same mistakes,” beabadoobee sings over cheerful guitars. “The highest I think I’ve ever been/ Said I had thе prettiest eyеs he’d ever seen.”
The accompanying music video was filmed in Japan and shows the artist waiting in subway stations, people-watching in busy crosswalks, and feeding deer in Nara. Watch it below.
While the singer-songwriter continues teasing the project, which arrives on August 16th via Dirty Hit, she’s also busy gearing up for a 2024 tour, which kicks off with a handful of UK festival dates before touching down in the US in September. Snag tickets here.
