While she’s currently handling the incident privately, Michelle says she will be ‘forced to take their names and this story to the press’ if her properties and materials aren’t returned

MANILA, Philippines – Michelle Dee took to social media lament about having her trust broken after an acquaintance allegedly stole her car and other properties recently.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 titleholder relayed the incident on Saturday, September 28, through her broadcast channel on Instagram.

Dee shared that her stolen car was recently retrieved in the Philippines, and that a “regular creative and his girlfriend that worked and lived in one of [her] apartments in Manila has admitted responsibility for it.”

While the beauty queen didn’t disclose other additional details about the wrongdoer, Dee noted that her supporters would probably “decipher who [the person] is.” She, however, asked them to “stay calm” since she’s currently handling the incident privately.

“But if my deliverables, properties that are under their possession, and materials that are under signed valued storage aren’t returned then my hand will be forced to take their names and this story to the press,” she added. Except for the car, the actress didn’t specify what are the properties and materials that haven’t been returned to her yet.

Dee then aired her frustration on how people she trusted and forgave went behind her back to “prioritize their own personal agendas.” “Professionalism and proper communication is all we asked for,” she said.

In a follow-up message, she asked her supporters to share the incident in hopes that a similar situation would be avoided. “Be careful who you trust and give access to,” she said.

Dee is currently in Europe for the Paris Fashion Week event.
