Following a powerful semi-final performance of ‘Doomsday Blue’, Bambie Thug has earned Ireland a place in the Grand Final of Eurovison.
The country’s first entry to the final round since 2018, the competition will take place this Saturday (May 11) at Sweden’s Malmö Arena.
Following the gripping semi-final performance that won the Cork-born alt artist their spot, Bambie Thug shared:
“I have completely dissociated right now, I’m having an out of body experience!
“I’m super proud, our team is very small and I’m an independent artist. It’s incredible that we reached here. I’m the first non-binary artist to qualify. See you Saturday.”
