Announcing the news on social media, they wrote “I can’t cope. Ireland I’m counting on you to vote correct, we need to shake up the competition and take back our legacy! Please pick the artist and song that pushes boundaries, send the LGBTQIA.”

Bambie Thug is not the only alternative artist hoping for Eurovision success this year, with Cyan Kicks also announcing their bid to compete for Finland with rock track ‘Dancing With Demons’.
Måneskin, Blind Channel and The Rasmus are among the rock acts who have taken part in the annual music contest in recent years. In 2023, Lord Of The Lost, Joker Out, Voyager and Piqued Jacks all made the finals which were held in Liverpool. Hopefully, we will see plenty more alternative artists competing in Sweden when the event takes place on May 07-11 at Malmö Arena.
