A new trailer for Flight Risk, the latest movie directed by Academy Award winner Mel Gibson, has been released. The film stars Mark Wahlberg in what promises to be a scene-stealing villainous role.
Hitting movie theaters on January 24, 2025, Flight Risk also stars Michelle Dockery and Topher Grace alongside the Academy Award-nominated Mark Wahlberg, who is donning a brutal yet hilariously perfect male pattern baldness cap.
Flight Risk in the first movie that Gibson has directed since 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Gibson has also directed Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ, and Apocalypto.

In recent years, Wahlberg has starred in films such as Spenser Confidential, Infinite, The Family Plan, The Union, Joe Bell, Father Stu, and Arthur the King, making Flight Risk the first time he’s played a villain in quite a long time. Wahlberg’s upcoming projects include the films Play Dirty and Balls Up.
