Badge Époque Ensemble have announced a new album, a follow-up to 2020’s Self Help. It’s titled Clouds of Joy and it’s out September 9 via Telephone Explosion. They’ve shared one song from the album, “Zodiac,” along with a video for it by Colin Medley. Check out “Zodiac” and the Clouds of Joy tracklist below.
Led by Max Turnbull, the Toronto group issued the Nature, Man & Woman EP and a self-titled project in 2019. Fellow Toronto artist James Baley, who released his debut album A Story last year, makes a guest appearance on “Zodiac.” Self Help made it to the long list for Canada’s esteemed Polaris Music Prize in 2020.
