Bad Omens have shared a simple graphic on their socials that suggests we may well be getting something new from them soon.
It might not be much but when the anticipation is as high as it is for a band like Bad Omens, seeing the band share a nine-second graphic that reads ‘Loading’ is enough to get us excited at the prospect of new music.
Plus, given we knew last year the band were working on two albums, and they recently dropped ‘Concrete Jungle [The OST]’ a few months ago, it’s not unfounded to think a new full-length project is on the horizon.
‘Concrete Jungle [The OST]’ is a new album featuring reworked versions of ‘The Death Of Peace Of Mind’ and sees collaborations with the likes of HEALTH, ERRA and Wargasm (UK).
The project of course also features the huge track ‘V.A.N’, created with Poppy, who supported the band’s ‘Concrete Forever Tour’ dates in Europe.
Bad Omens are set to headline Mayhem Festival on October 12 at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California.
A week prior to the release of ‘Concrete Jungle [The OST]’, the band announced they were cancelling their European tour dates due to “extreme burnout”, with frontman Noah Sebastian saying at the time:
“While all the touring and work that we’ve put into this album cycle the last several years has been so gratifying and rewarding, it has also pushed me to the limits of my mental bandwidth.
“Putting my mind and body in conflict with one another in ways that are becoming detrimental to my health on the road.”
“We know this will be disappointing, but we ask that you respect our choice to put health first.”
