There is a video floating around of three average dudes kicking a Tesla Cybertruck attempting to damage it and it’s gone viral but not for the reasons they’d like.
In a clip that has gone viral on X with over 15 million views, three guys are kicking the Tesla Cybertruck and bragging about how it cannot be damaged. The clip is from a 26+ minute video on YouTube titled ‘Why I’m buying a Cybertruck!’ that was posted by the ‘carwow’ channel and the kicking of the truck is the start of that video.
With 15.4 million views (and counting) and 5,000 reshares this video has officially gone viral (like another Cybertruck video earlier this week):
The video shared by ‘Tesla Motors Community’ was certainly intended for Tesla/Elon fans, even if the clip was spliced and shared by a social media agency behind that account. In the end, however, both the video and the Cybertruck are getting mercilessly roasted on Elon’s own site.
Somehow, the top reply on the video *isn’t* from a ‘Blue’ account, which Elon’s site prioritizes. That might explain why it’s a response that’s actually good and not just someone paying for exposure. X user @thelefttake wrote “Does it withstand my neighbours bullying me for time eternal for buying the worst looking vehicle ever “designed”?”
Folks had a lot to say about how weakly these guys are able to kick the Tesla Cybertruck. It’s evident one or more of them are skipping leg day. X user @fio_rella202 wrote “A soda can wouldn’t dent with those kicks.” Another person added to that, saying “I don’t know what is more impressive, the vehicle surviving, or the guy tearing a hammy.”
My personal favorite reaction:
Another person astutely pointed out that all it wold take is a tiny rock to completely destroy the Cybertruck. Just put the rock on the gas pedal next to a cliff and poof, it’s done for.
The overarching theme here is two-fold: (1) one of the biggest selling points of the Tesla Cybertruck, being indestructible, is both useless but also a lie and (2) the people who are overly excited about these selling points have become untethered from reality. Here is the full video, if you care to watch:
All across America, these vehicles are going to attract attention anywhere they go. Some of that attention will be welcomed, other times it will almost certainly be attention of the unwelcome sort.
