Twitch star Asmongold is North America’s most-watched streamer so far in 2025, beating out Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, TimTheTatman and more.
Through the first quarter of the year, there’s been a couple of surprises in the streaming industry and a new leader as emerged in North America.
Amazon-owned Twitch remains the top destination for streamers to get the most views, and Asmongold has taken advantage of his newfound popularity on the site thanks to his political commentary.
Asmongold has been soaring on Twitch, surpassing even Kai Cenat in the process – and there are only two other streamers ahead of him on the planet.
Asmongold takes over Twitch with impressive viewership stats
StreamsCharts reports that Asmongold already boasts 26.22M hours of content watched so far in 2025, four hours more than Kai Cenat.
However, Asmon, who streamed on his zackrawrr account, was live for 567 hours total, which is significantly more than Cenat, who had 274 hours of airtime.
No one in the top 10 was live longer than TimTheTatman, though. Riding the high for Marvel Rivals, the streamer saw a huge resurgence, with over 20M hours watched over his whopping 1,002 hours of airtime.
Meanwhile, xQc was the most-watched Canadian and Kick streamer at 17.61M hours watched. The globetrotting IShowSpeed was NA’s top YouTuber at nearly 16M hours watched.
Moving past NA and into the global sphere, however, there are two streamers who are ahead of Asmongold.
Caedrel, who finished March as the most-watched Twitch streamer, is also at the top of Europe, sitting at 30.28M hours watched thanks to his League of Legends broadcasts.
StreamsChartsFinally, Brazilian streamer CazéTV is the most-watched streamer on the planet. The football commentator’s broadcast of the 2025 Campeonato Paulista final between Corinthians and Palmeiras alone peaked at 5.16M viewers. So far this year, he’s miles ahead of everyone at 167.50M hours watched.
It may not be possible for anyone to match CazéTV, but the battle between Asmongold and Caedrel will certainly be one to watch as 2025 rolls on.
