Ashton Hall responds after viral morning routine video sparks endless memes

Health coach and fitness influencer Ashton Hall has responded after his viral ‘morning routine’ video ended up becoming the laughing stock of the internet.

Ashton Hall is a name that’s suddenly everywhere online, and there’s a good reason for that.

Over the weekend of March 22, Hall went viral for a video he’d posted showing off his ambitious ‘morning routine,’ where he woke up at 3 AM to complete a whole host of athletic and self-care activities before finally starting his work day at 9 AM.

Aside from the fact that he seemed to have a live-in personal assistant (or girlfriend?) who brought him his meals and a bowl of ice water, the timestamps of his morning routine and his ambitious Zoom call with a client (‘We gotta get at least ten thousand!’) have provided endless memes for the internet.

Most of these memes are poking direct fun at Hall, while others are taking aim at the entire ‘morning routine’ genre, in which high-earning influencers wake up at absurd hours of the day and show off their lavish lifestyles.

Ashton Hall slams the internet for “copying” his viral morning routine videos

Four days after his routine was first posted, Hall has finally responded to the buzz about him online, which he wrote off as “nonsense” from those “copying” his content.

“So many videos are being sent to me, duplicates of my videos. This is for the creators who are sick and tired of their work being copied,” he began.

“Listen to me well. You’re either going to be a leader or a follower, and it’s okay to be either one, but you have to choose. If you’re going to be a leader, people are going to follow you.”

After admitting that he used to block people for ‘copying’ his videos, he went on to share a religious message, referencing Jesus Christ and encouraging other creators not to be discouraged when they see their content being treated in a similar way.

“I realized, bro, people followed Jesus. Why? Because he was great. As a Christian man, why are you angry if they’re following you? Matter of fact, if you’re doing something good, with good intentions, this should be a great thing.”

Hall’s response is getting an overall negative reaction from netizens, who had another swath of memes in retaliation to his response video.

“This man did not invent getting ready in the morning,” one wrote on X.

“Did bro compare himself to Jesus?” another asked.

“Someone clearly did not do an ice water face dip this morning,” yet another joked.

Funnily enough, Hall’s video went so viral that it actually impacted the stock of Saratoga Spring Water’s parent company, Primo Brands, causing a jump in valuation over the past few days.
