ARIANA Grande’s fans think she hinted that her ex Dalton Gomez “lied and cheated” in her new song, Eternal Sunshine.
The singer, 30, finalized her divorce from real estate agent Dalton, 28, in October 2023 – two years after they got married.

While Ariana has not revealed the reason for the split, her fans think they have found some clues in her seventh studio album.
The 7 Rings hitmaker sings about a girl “in my bed” and being “lied” to in the track.
“I’ve never seen someone lie like you do” Ariana sings in the first verse.
“I showed you all my demons, all my lies / Yet you played me like Atari” she adds in the chorus.
“Now she’s in my bed, layin’ on your chest,” the singer also says, before adding the explicit line, “Hope you feel alright when you’re in her.”
In the second verse, Ariana refers to the memory-erasing storyline in the song’s inspiration, the 2004 Jim Carrey movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
She talks about wanting to forget the “pain,” singing, “So I try to wipe my mind / Just so I feel less insane / Rather feel painless / I’d rather forget than know.”
While the Thank U, Next singer didn’t mention her ex by name, her fans were quick to presume he was the culprit in the song.
“Imagine cheating on Ariana Grande ? Dalton Gomez you will pay for what you did…eternal sunshine is amazing,” one raged on X, formerly Twitter.
“‘Now, now she’s in my bed, laying on your chest,’ Dalton Gomez when I f**kn catch you,” another added.
“You have THE Ariana Grande as your wife, and you chose to HURT her?? Oh Dalton Gomez, count your days.” a third posted.
“Dalton Gomez… making my mother cry like that I wish I hated you…. AND CHEATING ON THEEE ARIANA GRANDE????” someone else commented.
Ariana and Dalton tied the knot at the Rain On Me singer’s Montecito residence on May 15, 2021.
Breakup rumors began circulating in July 2023 and Ariana filed for divorce in September of that year.

The actor was still married to his ex-wife Lilly Jay – whom he has a young son with – when they began dating.
Ariana faced outrage over the relationship, with critics accusing her of being a “homewrecker.”
Sources told TMZ that the pop star and the actor got together during the production of their musical film.
Lilly eventually broke her silence to Page Six where she threw shade at Ariana.
“[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl. My family is just collateral damage… The story is her and Dalton,” she said.
An insider claimed Ethan and Lilly had been separated for two months before he romanced Ariana.
