The cast of Wicked is at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, but Jonathan Bailey is sadly not there with them.
Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and the best of the cast hit the red carpet on Friday (February 7) at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif.
Also in attendance were Jeff Goldblum (with wife Emilie Livingston), Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, and Bowen Yang, as well as director Jon M. Chu.
Even though Ariana and Ethan are dating in real life now, they didn’t walk the carpet together at the event.
Wicked is tied with Conclave for the most nominations at the Critics Choice Awards with 11 nods, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Acting Ensemble.
So, where is Jonathan?

Jonathan is in rehearsals for his upcoming play Richard II in London, which begins performances on February 10. There aren’t any performances on Sundays, so it’s likely that he can attend the SAG Awards and the Oscars. He’ll have to do very quick trips though!
