If you have not gathered by now, Joe Jonas and Sierra Ferrell have me in a chokehold. I cannot get enough of this surprising pairing and their latest duet on a classic Aerosmith track is a true delight.
You could hear a pin drop at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City while they captivated every single person in the crowd with their sultry vocals.
Jonas, fresh off of the release of his new album Music For People Who Believe In Love, dabbled in the country music space over the last few weeks. He popped up at Post Malone’s tour to sing Shania Twain’s ‘You’re Still The One’ with Ferrell at AT&T Stadium. They later performed the same song together at his album release party in Los Angeles, which sparked dating rumors when they were spotted slow dancing to a random bluegrass trio outside of the venue.
Although I find it hard to believe that Joe Jonas and Ferrell are involved from a romantic standpoint, I have great admiration for what they are doing on a professional level. Their song ‘Sip Your Wine’ adds a cosmic country twist to the second-oldest Jonas Brother’s new album but it is their non-studio performances that really stand out.
Jonas invited a bunch of his friends to sing a bunch of songs off of his new album and some that are not. Sierra Ferrell joined him for the first live performance of ‘Sip Your Wine’ as well as a cover of ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ by Aerosmith. They practiced together in the green room with some help from Frankie Jonas, the youngest of the four brothers.
It sounded just as good when they brought it out to the stage.
Their voices pair so well together!
I have so many questions about how this partnership came together. Never in a million years would I expect the Appalachian Princess to join forces with the former Disney Channel star. And yet, here we are. Joe Jonas and Sierra Ferrell are seemingly everywhere together of late. Heck, maybe they are in love?!
