Tonight, the channel has confirmed that it will pay tribute to the star in special programming.
Posting an image of the star on the official Instagram account, the account wrote: “As a tribute to Anne Burrell, we’ll be celebrating her with a special selection of episodes that will highlight her extraordinary talent as a chef, competitor, and teacher.
“Tune in on Wednesday, June 25 beginning at 10pm ET/PT.“
It added: “This July, we’ll also be airing a brand-new season of Worst Cooks in America, featuring Anne’s final appearance as mentor.
“Anne was joined by boot camp’s newest mentor, @chefgabebertaccini. The new season kicks off on Monday, July 28 at 9pm.“
Before then, the channel will air episodes of Guy’s Grocery Games with Guy Fieri.
However, fans took to Reddit as they slammed the Network for the late night timeslot.
They also claimed the current plan is simply not enough and that Anne deserved more air time as a legendary face of the network.
One fan fumed: “10 PM? That’s no good. We can do without watching Guy for a day. Please give Chef Anne the celebration she deserves.”
A second wrote: “The time slot is pretty terrible but I’d hope for a long running marathon of her best work on competition shows and Secrets Of A Restaurant Chef!”

“I’m surprised you guys haven’t been playing reruns since this happened. She definitely deserves a better timeslot than 10 PM,” stated another user.
While a fourth fan exclaimed: “No disrespect to the other chefs, but Beat Bobby Flay and Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives are on CONSTANTLY.
“I agree with many others-show Chef Anne more love and respect.”
They suggested: “How about ALL day Wednesday the 25th? Or a marathon of Chef Anne’s Worst Cooks episodes until the premiere of the new season?”
