Anna Trincher in Two-Piece Workout Gear is "Going With My Thoughts" During Squats

Anna Trincher is thinking about her new single at the gym. In a new social media post the Ukrainian singer flaunts her famously fit figure during an exercise session, flaunting her abs in the process. “Going with my thoughts and telling you about the shooting of the first snippet on my new track đŸ‘‰đŸ»” she captioned the Instagram Stories video. How does the singer approach diet and fitness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

In the clip, Anna does kettlebell squats. In an interview with our sister site, The Body Network, Nikolai Puchlov, Head Coach & Founder, Pro Kettlebell, explained why working out with kettlebells is a great idea. Not only are they inexpensive, but help offer a high intensity, low impact workout that can burn a lot of calories in a short time. And, like other forms of strength and weight training, you continue to burn more calories post workout than other cardio-based forms, due to post-exercise oxygen consumption. Puchlov adds that they help strengthen your muscles and joints and “provides cardio benefits at the same time.”

Anna indulges in self-care – especially when she gets back from touring. She told Masha Efrosinina that she has a few go-to practices. “When I return to Kyiv, I immediately go to my favorite massage therapist. This is the best recovery option for me after trips,” she said.

One of her self-care rituals? “I also love to swim in the pool,” she said. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

She revealed she has another self-care routine, and that is to “take a bath,” she said. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

When it comes to diet, Anna practices balance when she isn’t on tour. “I do whatever I feel like doing that I usually don’t have time or opportunity for in my everyday life,” she says about her time off. She will “eat at McDonald’s or buy something sweet,” she added. “I don’t deny myself anything!”
