Anna Engelschall is an influencer, known for her wellness content. Engelschall recently enjoyed a trip to Spain, and shared some highlights on Instagram. In them, she is seen on the beach, enjoying strawberries and salmon bowls, and shopping, among other things. She captioned the post, “Sunsets and the beach>>>> Not sure what my top highlights had been in the last few days but I’ll definitely miss taking myself on sunset dates to watch Netflix on the beach. Bye Spain 🇪🇸 will definitely come back again!”
As you can see from her Instagram post, Engelschall likes to eat strawberries. The Cleveland Clinic says that they are a very healthy food. “For starters, strawberries are loaded with vitamin C. Eight medium strawberries contain 160% of your daily recommended amount — the amount that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends you eat every day. That’s more vitamin C than you get from an orange, the fruit famous for its vitamin C. Strawberries are also packed with antioxidants, which protect cells from damage. The primary antioxidant in strawberries is anthocyanin, which gives the fruit its color. The amount of anthocyanin in strawberries increases as the fruit ripens. So, the redder the berry, the more antioxidants it contains.”
Engelschall shared some of her favorite workouts and foods in this Instagram video. In it, she is seen on a hike. According to Piedmont, hiking is a great workout to do. “When you’re dressed for success, hiking is a great total-body workout,” says Michael Bednarz, DPM, FACFAS, a podiatric surgeon at Piedmont. “It strengthens the large muscles in your body, while stimulating the feel-good chemical hormones of adrenaline and endorphins that boost your mood and energy levels.”
Engelschall likes to eat avocado. In the previous Instagram video, she is seen enjoying it for both breakfast and lunch. The Cleveland Clinic reports that avocados have a lot of benefits. “Avocados include vitamins C, E, K1, B6 and folate, plus essential minerals like potassium and copper. They’re low in sugar, loaded with fiber and high in monosaturated fats, aka ‘good’ fats. Oh, and did we mention that they taste great and they’re super versatile?!”
Engelschall revealed in her Instagram video that she loves yogurt after working out. The Mayo Clinic reports that yogurt has a lot of benefits. “Yogurt is high in calcium, protein, selenium, B-12 and other nutrients. Many yogurts also contain probiotics — the beneficial bacteria that live in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Healthy bacteria in the gut are critical to digestion. Research also shows that these tiny microbes play an important role in regulating the immune system, the inflammatory response and many other bodily functions.”
Engelschall revealed in the caption of this Instagram post that she wants to be healthy in order to overcome her past struggles with body image. “My younger self struggled with body image issues, she was under-eating, over-exercising and harming her body, just because she wanted to look a certain way. I want to heal her, and show her what it truly means, to be healthy and happy. ❤ ️Last but not least I want to help others. I want to see as many women as possible becoming healthier and happier – and I want to see everyone GROW, into their best versions of themselves 🥹”
