Pivarnick lost a lot of weight in 2019, and one of the reasons was a change she made to her diet. She revealed to E! News that she was on the popular keto diet. However, she put her own unique twist on it, in order to still enjoy her favorite indulgences. “I sort of did half Keto,” she explained. “I kind of followed [Keto], but on Sundays I gave myself a cheat day.”
In episodes of Jersey Shore, Pivarnick is seen going to therapy sessions. She tells Us Weekly that this has really improved her mental health and her life. “I start going to therapy myself, which I really suggest to anybody out there that needs to find themselves or just needs to talk to somebody. I do it every week. I love it.”
Pivarnick tells E! News that she has a lot of back problems. This unfortunately, limits the types of workouts she’s allowed to do. However, she says that she mostly does cardio exercises to stay in shape. “I really can’t lift weights because my back is injured from being an EMT. But I’m allowed to walk on the treadmill and I’ll do an incline sometimes.”
Pivarnick tells E! News that she makes sure to eat healthy. One of the ways she does so is by using healthy meal services, and having food delivered to her. Pivarnick listed her favorite services and products as well, saying, “Eat Clean Bro… I wake up in the morning, I’ll take a Boom Bod packet, you put it in the water, you mix it, you drink it. Then I’ll either have a 310 Nutrition shake or I’ll have a really light breakfast. And then at lunch, I’ll have an Eat Clean Bro.”
Being from Jersey Shore, Pivarnick naturally loves to have her skin tanned. However, this can be dangerous for her, as tanning salons and spending time in the sun put you at risk for skin cancer. In order to do this, Pivarnick self-tans. According to St. Clair Health, “Sunless tanning products, also called self-tanners, can give your skin a tanned look without exposing you to harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.”
