Angelina Jolie Left ‘Shocked And Worried’ After Pax’s Bike Crash

Reports have claimed that the 20-year-old, who was recently involved in a bike accident, would “need further treatments” down the line to get back into healthy shape.

The news of the accident reportedly stunned Angelina Jolie, who is said to have stayed by her son’s side, offering support.

According to an insider, Pax, who was recently released from the hospital’s ICU, still feels “uncomfortable.”

They claim that the young adult would “need further treatments down the line,” but he is “very lucky” that the injuries he sustained were not permanently damaging.

“It could have been much worse,” they said, referencing the fact that Pax was not wearing a helmet at the time when he had the accident.

Every mother’s worst nightmare is hearing that one of their children got involved in a life-threatening situation.

It was no different for Jolie when she got the news that her son Pax was involved in an e-bike accident that required him to be hospitalized.

“Angie was shocked and worried when she got the call about the accident,” a source told People Magazine about the Hollywood star, who has been by her son’s side since the incident.

However, according to In Touch, the actress also feels the accident is partly Pitt’s fault due to their ongoing family drama and legal battle.

“Of course Brad is very sympathetic, he still loves Pax dearly and was equally distraught when he found out he’d been rushed to the hospital,” a source told the news outlet. “But from Angelina’s point of view, that’s not making her feel much better. She believes the cr-p she has to go through as a single parent is totally underappreciated by him, and it’s all his fault she’s in this situation in the first place because he ruined the family they had with his carelessness.”

Pax’s shocking accident took place during rush hour on July 29 while he was riding an e-bike without a helmet on Los Feliz Boulevard, per the Daily Mail. The location is near his mother’s Los Angeles residence, suggesting Pax might have been either leaving or heading to her home.

According to reports, Pax was approaching an intersection when he crashed his e-bike into the back of a parked car. The driver of the car had stopped for a red light before Pax collided with his vehicle.

It remains unclear whether the 20-year-old was driving too fast, which might have prevented him from being able to apply the bike’s brake in time to avoid the collision.

After the crash, the car driver reportedly checked on Pax, who witnesses claimed was lying unconscious on the ground. It is believed that Pax did not gain consciousness until the arrival of paramedics. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital due to his complaints about head pain.

Pax’s estranged father, Brad Pitt, is reportedly not being kept informed about his adopted son’s health due to their estrangement.

“Don’t expect Pax’s accident to bring the family dynamic back in any way as Pax is 100 percent on Angie’s side and doesn’t want any well wishes or remorse from Brad,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

Being kept in the dark about the situation is reportedly “gutting” Pitt, and he hopes that, given the seriousness of the situation, a truce can be reached, at least temporarily.

“It is gutting Brad that it has got to this point that he can’t even be a worried dad, as all he is getting is radio silence from finding out exactly what is going down with his son,” the insider said about the “Bullet Train” star.

They added, “He wishes that everyone could be above it all since this situation involves people’s lives, but emotions as they are between Pax, Angie, and Brad are so bad that there will never be a time where it gets to a place where things are OK.”

In addition to Jolie, Pax’s siblings Maddox, 22; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, have also supported him since the accident.

The five have visited him in the hospital multiple times, with insiders noting that they share a close bond.

No details have been released about how long Pax’s rehabilitation will take or what further treatments may be needed in the future.

According to reports, the 20-year-old has previously been involved in a “string of crashes.” His latest incident has reportedly sparked concern among his friends, who wish he would slow down and reconsider his fast-paced lifestyle.

“His friends are concerned about him. He’s being reckless. They’re worried,” an insider said, per Page Six.

In the meantime, it appears unlikely that Pax will face any charges related to the crash, as recent reports suggest that the LAPD does not plan to add any further updates to their initial report on the incident.
