Fans were quick to compare her fresh look to her character in the 1999 hit drama film Girl, Interrupted.

Angelina was spotted in Venice, Italy, on August 27, sporting lighter hair a day before the 81st Venice Film Festival is set to begin.
The Maleficent actress wore a beige short-sleeved trench coat, navy bottoms, black boots, and a black skirt.
Her new look left fans gushing over her hairstyle, saying it gave “Girl, Interrupted vibes” in reference to her 1999 film which she starred alongside Winona Ryder.
“I love the blonde on her. Brings back Girl, Interrupted vibes,” said one Reddit user.

On August 29, the 2024 film Maria, starring Angelina as the lead, is scheduled to premiere at the festival.
Angelina plays the part of American-Greek opera singer Maria Callas.
The film has been nominated for Best Film by the Venice Film Festival.
Angelina’s new hairstyle comes months after the actress flaunted her new tattoo.
On June 16, during the 2024 Tony Awards, the 49-year-old debuted a small black sparrow tattoo across her chest.
Clinical psychologist Dr. Joshua Klapow told The U.S. Sun that her new tattoo was “powerful”, adding, “The messaging behind Angelina’s bird in flight tattoo surrounds lifting a burden.”

Pax suffered a head injury after not wearing a helmet during the incident.
He was rushed to the hospital after reportedly complaining of head pain.
According to The Mirror, Angelina rushed to be by her son.
Pax spent days at the hospital before he was released from the ICU, a source told People.
“He suffered complex trauma and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” they continued.
