André 3000 is part of Supreme’s new Fall/Winter 2022 lookbook. On Sunday (August 21), the famed New York streetwear brand posted a photo of the Outkast rapper on the brand’s official Instagram account promoting the new seasonal collection. The image was taken by New York photographer Deana Lawson and features André 3000 in the brand’s classic “box logo” T-shirt.
The photo was followed by a behind-the-scenes video of the photoshoot posted on Monday, where André 3000 describes his creative process. “At a certain point, you gotta feed yourself—you can’t feed on mimicking,” he says in the video. “You gotta put the time in to figure out who you are, and what you’re not.”
Supreme has collaborated with other musicians like Neil Young and Morrissey in the past, with the brand later printing their images onto seasonal T-shirts. Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection will be available in stores and online this Thursday (August 25), and in Japanese stores and online on Saturday (August 27). Check out the André 3000 Tee below.
André 3000 is set to star in White Noise, the upcoming film from Noah Baumbach, which premieres at the 79th Venice International Film Festival later this year.
