The official first trailer for Ballerina, the upcoming John Wick spinoff film featuring Oscar nominee Ana de Armas in the lead role, has been released.
Originally scheduled to hit theaters this past summer, Ballerina was delayed to undergo reshoots, with franchise producer and John Wick Chapters 1-4 director Chad Stahelski reportedly working with director Len Wiseman on adding additional action scenes.

“Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.”
Alongside de Armas in the lead role, Ballerina is also set to star Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Keanu Reeves, and the late Lance Reddick, who reprise their roles from the John Wick franchise, alongside newcomers Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus.
Ballerina: From the World of John Wick will be released in movie theaters in the United States on Friday, June 6, 2025. Given how beloved the John Wick franchise is among movie fans and the fact that Ana de Armas is, well, Ana de Armas, Ballerina will sure be one of the most anticipated blockbusters of next summer.
