The first poster for Ballerina, the upcoming John Wick spinoff starring Ana de Armas has been released. Ballerina: From the World of John Wick will be hitting movie theaters in the United States on June 6, 2025.
Ballerina takes place during the events of John Wick 3 and features Ana de Arms in the lead role of Eve Macarro, a Ruska Roma assassin.
The first poster for the film, featuring de Armas’ character sporting similar tattoos to Keanu Reeves’ iconic John Wick, was released this week ahead of the cast’s appearance at the CCXP fan convention in Brazil this weekend.

Ballerina was first scheduled to release earlier this year but was delayed to undergo reshoots, with franchise producer and John Wick director Chad Stahelski reportedly stepping in to add additional action scenes.

“Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.”
Ballerina will also star Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Keanu Reeves, and the late Lance Reddick, all reprising their roles from the John Wick franchise, alongside de Armas. Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus round out the cast as new additions to the franchise.
Ballerina: From the World of John Wick hits movie theaters in the United States on Friday, June 6, 2025. With the main John Wick series of films seemingly coming to an end, Ballerina will likely be the first of many spinoffs within the franchise if it’s a success. Given the cast and how beloved the franchise is, that certainly seems likely.
