Kabir Singh Debuted on ‘AGT’ with a Memorable Comedy Set

In 2021, Singh took the stage on America’s Got Talent, becoming a fan favorite for his sharp humor and relatable jokes about his Indian heritage and his mom.

“I’ve had a rough week, my mom just learned how to start text messaging people,” Singh said at one point in his debut set.

“Does anyone’s mom text you? Worst thing that’s ever happened to me in my life,” he exclaimed.

He joked about how mundane his mom’s text messages are.

“Oh my god, the remote is not working,” he quipped.

Of course, the set won over the crowd… but also judge and fellow comedian Howie Mandel.

Mandel described him as both “relatable” and “magnetic” at the time.

“America is going to love you,” Mandel told Singh.

Singh made it to the semifinals on season 16 of the talent show.

In addition to his appearances on America’s Got Talent in 2021, Singh was also featured on Comedy Central, Family Guy, and the BBC.

Meanwhile, Curry shared that Singh’s funeral services are scheduled for the morning of Saturday, Dec. 14, in Hayward, California. He also requested thoughts and prayers for Singh’s family, loved ones, and fiancée.
