As you can see from her Instagram post, Newton hikes to keep herself in shape. Harvard Health states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”
Newton likes to cook, and she shares a lot of her go-to meals on Instagram. In this reel, she makes breakfast. Newton captioned the post, “Have breakfast with me ☺️I always start my morning with a breakfast packed with protein and good fats. This morning I had my go-to: half an open face bagel with avocado and two eggs on top. 🍳”
Newton revealed in her Instagram post that she takes supplements. “I’ve been taking @wellbel for over a year now. I love that it is not only a skin/hair supplement but also a multivitamin. Their blend has vitamin D, vitamin B12, vitamin A, Selenium, Biotin, and a proprietary blend of nutrients. I also take NAC to increase antioxidant levels 🙂 I also started taking medication for my mental health a few months ago so I take that with my supplements in the morning.”
In her Instagram post, Newton revealed that she loves matcha. “I’ve been adding a tiny bit of ghee to my almond milk for extra nutrients and gut health, it also makes my matcha taste so rich and foamy. (Ghee is clarified butter, packed with nutrients and many health benefits) I’ve been using @cymbiotika matcha for a while and I really like it. I always make sure I have caffeine at least one hour after waking up :)”
Newton also revealed in her Instagram post that she eats healthy bagels. “I love having a 14 grain bagel in the morning because of its fibre, protein, and micronutrients. I usually have half an avocado on top or on the side for healthy fats. Then top it off with two over easy eggs. I sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne, and Italian seasoning on my eggs. TRUST it is SO good!! On mornings I know I need extra energy I will also have some sausage on the side :)”
