Ali Wong and Bill Hader started dating in 2022 but quickly split.
In December 2022, Page Six reported that the pair “had a brief rebound romance” following their breakups from previous partners.
At the time, sources told the outlet that the pair began dating “at least two months ago,” but they had already gone their separate ways.
“They’re no longer dating. They dated very briefly. They’re just super busy with things, but [the split] was certainly amicable. They’re certainly friends,” an insider told the publication.

As People reported, the Hollywood stars rekindled their relationship in April 2023.
During the season 4 premiere of his HBO show Barry on April 16 of that year, Bill mentioned his girlfriend, though he did not name Ali at the time.
“I need to take a vacation. Yeah. Yeah. I need to take a vacation. My girlfriend and I were talking and she brought it up that I haven’t had a vacation in 10 years, so I think I need to go,” the actor told People of his busy schedule.
Per the outlet, the pair were spotted kissing and being affectionate in Los Angeles, California, on April 19, 2023, and were later seen holding hands after buying smoothies at Erewhon Market on September 7 of that year.

They have since made multiple public appearances together as a couple, such as when they shared a kiss at the 2024 Golden Globes on January 7, 2024, per People.
The following week on January 14, Ali and Bill went to the 2024 Critics Choice Awards together, once again sharing a kiss.
The next day on January 15, they joined each other at Netflix’s Emmys afterparty.
Ali touched on her relationship with Bill while walking the red carpet for the award show.
Speaking with Access Hollywood, she said the pair are “very selectively private.”
When asked about their Golden Globes kiss and the public’s reaction, the Beef actress laughed and said, “We’ve been together for a minute, so it’s like I guess people didn’t know we were together, but it’s just also like, we’re both like in our 40s and parents, so, yeah.”

As Rolling Stone reported, Ali talked about her divorce and dating Bill during a Sunday, May 12, 2024 comedy show.
“I didn’t expect the news of my divorce to be so widespread and public,” Wong said about announcing the news of her split from Justin.
“I felt really embarrassed and ashamed, but I didn’t realize that all of these media outlets were acting like a bat signal letting all potentially interested men know. I’ve never been pursued this much in my life,” she continued.
When she and Justin first split, Ali said she wasn’t looking for a serious relationship and joined a dating app.
During the show, she “told a story about a guy she already knew who reached out to her the day after she joined the dating app,” per Rolling Stone. The “guy” was Bill.
“I get a phone call from this guy who I met at a dinner party in the past, and he got my number from a mutual friend,” Ali said.
“He was like, ‘Hey, I just happened to hear the news about your divorce, and I’ve had a crush on you forever. I actually told my best friend years ago that you were my dream girl, and I know it sounds crazy, but I want you to be my girlfriend.'”
She then joked, “I was like, ‘I just paid $25 [for the dating app]. You seem really nice, but I gotta get my money’s worth.'”
