The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky-Manno is celebrating a major milestone in her fitness journey. Fedotowsky-Manno, 39, shared a video of herself wearing a variety of different workout outfits, spanning over three years. “2 MILLION POUNDS LIFTED ON @tonal 💪🏻 AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I could cry. I’m so proud of myself. I have never stuck with a fitness program for this long. It’s taken a lot of hard work, determination, consistency, and sweat to do this. I EARNED this and it shows,” she captioned the post. Here’s what Fedotowsky-Manno’s diet, training, and wellness routine looks like.
Fedotowsky-Manno has been vegetarian for over 10 years. “I kind of started on a whim,” she told Women’s Health. “A friend suggested I try pescatarian, I thought I’d do it for like two weeks, and then here I am eight years later. I’ve never gone back… I eat when I’m hungry and I don’t deprive myself. If I want something, I’ve let myself have it. I think it’s important to enjoy food and to focus on having a healthy lifestyle instead of dieting.”
Fedotowsky-Manno loves pasta—for breakfast, and sometimes makes two bowls (one with sauce and one without). “I’d say I eat a lot of pasta,” she told PEOPLE. “I love it and don’t want to deprive myself, so I eat it in the mornings so I can burn it off all day. I just try not to eat it after 6pm.”
Fedotowsky-Manno makes a point of going outdoors for workouts when she can. “A really important part of my health and wellness is getting out of the house,” she told Athleisure. “Because I don’t have a TV show that I go to work at during the week anymore, I find that I am working from home and doing a lot of different projects and I have a business that I am launching soon and all that. I find that weeks will go by and I’ll say to myself that I have not left the house in two weeks as my husband took the kids to school in the mornings – I need to get out of the house. Going for walks, a drive, whatever you need to do! If you’re WFH and feeling down, I really believe it will help so many people by just getting myself outside of the house every once in a while.”
Fedotowsky-Manno doesn’t find public speaking stressful—she genuinely enjoys it. “I loved giving speeches and little things prepared me for it,” she told Athleisure. “I got best speaker in my oral communications class in college. When I worked at Facebook, one of my jobs was to teach people how to use different programs and talking to groups. It’s always been something that I have enjoyed and I think it was a natural progression and at the end of the day, people who are The Bachelor or The Bachelorette lead, they are usually chosen because they are comfortable talking in front of a camera.”
Fedotowsky-Manno is obsessed with her Tonal workout machine, saying it changed her life. “You guys know that I work with Tonal but I want you to know they did not reach out to me to work together,” she wrote on her website. “I reached out to them because I fell in love with it! The fact that I now get to work with them to promote while I organically fell in love with it is just a blessing.”
