In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, Pranysqa, 9, revealed that her grandmother is very ill and was concerned she would not see her audition.

During her first audition, Pranysqa said that her grandmother, Kalyani, was the first person she would call if she made it through.

“I would definitely call my grandmom because she always wanted me to be on this big stage and now, finally, I’m here,” she told the judges.

She went on to sing River Deep – Mountain High by Tina Tuner.

Ultimately, the judges were moved by her performance and Heidi Klum gave her the Golden Buzzer.

Now, the child star is opening up about why it was so important that she told her grandmother about making it through.

‘BROKE DOWN IN TEARS’

An emotional Pranysqa told The U.S. Sun that her grandmother feared that she “would never see her talented granddaughter achieve success and fame from her incredible voice.”

She also said that Kalyani “broke down in tears after learning of her powerful audition.”

Kalyani is currently “quite sick” battling respiratory illness and severe arthritic issues.

Pranysqa recently reunited with her grandmother for the first time since her audition on July 2.

“She was crying, hugging me and just loving. She came from Canada with my aunt and uncle and my cousins,” the nine-year-old revealed.

“It was very emotional for her to see me there on that big stage before she takes her last breath. So it was a really emotional moment that time.”

Pranysqa, who sat with her mother Briya during the interview, said that her grandmother “prayed for years” for the singer to get an audition after losing out in recent years.

‘MEANT EVERYTHING!’

Pranysqa said that Kalyani has been a big mentor for her to follow her dreams since she started singing at just two years old.

America’s Got Talent judges

THOUSANDS of hopefuls have graced the America’s Got Talent stage to showcase their abilities.

“Getting the golden buzzer meant everything to me and for her because she has always given me support [to follow my dreams]. Whenever I visited her, she has always given me positive feedback and understood the role of my journey. Her support has never stopped,” the contestant said.

“She always prays to God for my success and hopes that in the future I will get a Tony or an Oscar. “

Kalyani has always encouraged her granddaughter to stay focused on her discipline and to practice and study major stars like Taylor Swift and Aretha Franklin.

“She always is there to help me and passes on her knowledge. She says to sing my heart out and face the consequences of performances and not to be afraid, and most importantly she makes sure I stay grounded,” Pranysqa said.

AGT is trying to make Kalyani’s dream come true of seeing Pranysqa perform on the stage by flying her out to Los Angeles, California.

“I cannot believe it is happening. It was her dream to see me on stage in front of a live audience and being seen by TV audiences,” the nine-year-old said.

“I know she is going to cry, but I don’t have words to know how much it will mean for her. She’ll be happy and excited because it will be her dream coming true – as much as mine.”

HEIDI’S SUPPORT

Heidi, 51, spoke with The U.S. Sun about seeing Pranysqa perform again.

“I am really excited because she is my Golden Buzzer and I believe she could win this competition. There are a lot of singers on this show, but Pranysqa is something special. She is absolutely incredible.”

“I spoke to her grandmother this week and am very excited to meet the family when they come to the show.”

Pranysqa will compete against Brent Street (Howie’s Golden Buzzer), Erica Rhodes, Ilya & Anastasiia Strakhov, Jonathan Burns, L6, Oscar Stembridge, Sebastián & Sonia, Solange Kardinaly, Stephanie Rainey, and Tonikaku.

AGT airs on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 8/7c on NBC.
