Streamers Adin Ross and Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel have hit back at Kanye West after the rap icon took a swipe at Adin’s claims that he needs to be “detained” for his views.
Over the years, Adin Ross has linked up with a number of rappers on stream. The Twitch and KICK star has mingled with the likes of Playboi Carti, Blueface, Trippie Redd, and Lil Yachty. Yet, his white whale has always been Kanye West.
West, who now goes by the name Ye, was meant to link up with Ross back in late 2022. However, that was scrapped as Adin didn’t want his platform to “be used to spread hate” following the artist’s “hate speech” toward Jewish people.
After Kanye’s appearance on Kai Cenat’s stream was canceled, Adin threw his hat back into the ring and offered to interview him again. The pair have gone back and forth on social media about it too.
Ye calls out Adin Ross and “destructive behavior”
However, after Adin told DJ Akademiks that Ye needed to “get some help,” the ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper hit back.
“Adin, why is it such an issue for me to express myself on my Twitter? You are telling people that I need to be detained and s*it like that,” he said in an X post directed at the streamer. “I talk exactly like people talk online, except for I’m a celebrity ’cause I don’t have to worry about getting dropped.
“You’ll play stuff with people killing each other and doing drugs and all this destructive behavior all day. That’s why I’m pressing y’all so much.”
xQc hits back at Ye over Adin Ross callout
xQc, who linked up with Adin following his unban on Twitch, was quick to leap to his friend’s defense.
“Hello Mr Ye. I think the problem is what you say is f**king braindead and you’re still actively doing those behaviors. Hope this helps buddy,” he said.
Adin replied to the rapper a short while later, urging him to strive for “unity” instead of hate.
“Because you have children whose lives will forever be impacted by the damage you’re causing. You are a believer in GOD, Why are you taking this route instead of going the love route? God does not want us to divide us further. We should be aiming for unity. Fight evil with good,” he said.
Adin Ross hit back at Ye’s callout.
It remains to be seen if the pair will actually link up for the stream they’ve been threatening.
