A cryptic tweet from Adin Ross has fans convinced that he’ll be unbanned on Twitch two years after his channel was indefinitely removed.
Ross was banned from Twitch indefinitely on February 25, 2023, and the streamer revealed that it was because of VOD/On-stream behavior.
The ban came just two days after he announced his move to Kick, where he has remained an equity owner ever since.
That hasn’t stopped Adin from trying to get unbanned on Twitch, however, and the Kick star revealed that something “big” is going to happen before the end of February. On February 25, a cryptic tweet from Adin Ross left fans convinced his long-awaited Twitch unban will happen sooner than later.
Adin Ross fans think Twitch rule change will unban streamer
On February 19, 2025, Twitch revealed massive changes to its ban system and made it so that streamers with hateful conduct violations will have their violations removed within two years.
Adin believes the rule change will lead to him being unbanned on February 25, and fans are convinced that it will happen as well. In a post on his second X account right at midnight, Adin shared a gif of Kanye West shrugging his shoulders.
Fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts about Adin’s Twitch unban, with some calling for the platform to unban the Kick co-owner.
“Twitch better unban or they gonna have to deal with me personally,” joked one user.
Another said: “Not everything is on east coast time. Might still have a chance.”
Others mentioned that he may get unbanned at the same time he was banned from the platform, which took place at 9:49 pm. If it happens, Adin will likely spread his time across both Kick and Twitch – similarly to Amouranth and xQc’s way of streaming.
