SUPERSTAR singer Adele wept as the two-year Las Vegas residency that has banked her an eye-watering £100million came to an end.
The 36-year-old had to have her make-up reapplied on stage as she said farewell to her fans ahead of what she said will be a lengthy break from music.
It follows the most lucrative string of live shows of her career, as her 100 Weekends With Adele performances and merchandise have earned her a massive nine-figure sum.
She welled up several times during her final two-hour show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday and admitted: “I’m f****** crying again.
“For f***’s sake.
“I have been crying all day.”
But Adele confessed she was unsure what she will do with her freedom away from the stage or the studio.
She said: “I’m not doing anything else.
“I’m actually sing myself about what I’m going to do.
“I don’t have any f***ing plans.
“I guess I’ll just day-drink.
“I just dunno when I want to next come on stage.
“And it’s time to move on.
“It’s time for the next chapter and it’s time for the next season of my life.”
Adele also spoke about her 12-year-old son Angelo.
She said: “To my son, I chose to do a residency mainly because I f***ing hate touring, but I chose to do a residency so I could keep his life normal.
“I did do that.
“But I also wouldn’t change it for the world.
“But I get to be with him on the weekends now because obviously you can’t always come.”
She added: “All I wanted to do was do some shows and just fall in love with performing again.
“And my last tour in stadiums f***ing freaked me out.
“It took me a long time to kind of wrap my head around it.
“So this felt perfect and is the bookend to this story.”
