Adam Sandler started on Saturday Night Live from 1990 to 1995 at the age of 24, but as the comedian was only on the show for five years, he went to acting and writing comedy films. While he had a slightly shorter SNL career than most of the most famous names from the show, Adam Sandler has claimed that he and Chris Farley were let go on the same day. Since the loss of Farley and MacDonald, Adam Sandler has dedicated time to both of them, with a song dedicated to Chris Farley and a Netflix comedy special, respectively. Today 24 to start on Saturday Night Live may seem like a young age to join the late-night sketch series, as some at the age of 24 have already been released from SNL after years on the program, unlike Adam Sandler.

Adam Sandler Has Released a Movie Almost Every Single Year
As Adam Sandler was let go from Saturday Night Live and determined to find work elsewhere, he created his own with Happy Madison Productions and has released an insane amount of movies under the banner, with and without him in the movie itself. However, Adam Sandler had appeared in movies before Happy Madison Productions, such as Man Overboard. Still, it wasn’t until the release of his first two movies, Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, that he became genuinely recognized for his talents outside of SNL. Since the release of his first Happy Madison movies, Adam Sandler has either appeared in at least one movie a year or sometimes two or more in one year if he missed a year. Still, overall, Adam Sandler has been in approximately 40 movies since his first movie in lead roles.

Adam Sandler Wasn’t in Latest Hotel Transylvania
Along with the Adam Sandler comedies that have barely been for the younger aged audiences, Adam Sandler lent his talents to the Sony animated Halloween film series from the first entry in the series to the third. Still, Adam Sandler wasn’t a returning voice for the fourth entry, Hotel Transylvania: Tranformania. Instead, Adam Sandler was replaced by Brian Hull, an impressionist from YouTube. The fourth and final Hotel Transylvania movie wasn’t a theatrical release and was released on Amazon Prime may have had something to do with the removal of Adam Sandler. Has Slowly Started to Tackle Serious Roles
As Adam Sandler was mostly referred to as the comedic voice for ages, it’s no surprise that as the actor has gotten older, he has gotten more interested in serious roles. Adam Sandler has added severe, sad, heart-wrenching elements to his movies, such as 50 First Dates and Click, but with Uncut Gems and Hustle. However, 50 First Dates and Click were more like romantic comedies that Sandler threw sad aspects into to create a more dynamic story to even out the slapstick humor.
