A Complete Unknown Now Streaming on Hulu

James Mangold’s acclaimed Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown is now streaming on Hulu as of March 27th.

Starring Timothée Chalamet as a young, emerging Bob Dylan throughout the early and mid-1960s, A Complete Unknown tracks the events leading up to Dylan’s infamous electric Newport Folk Festival set in 1965 as well as his relationships with fellow folk figures Joan Baez (Monica Barbaro), Pete Seeger (Edward Norton), Sylvie Russo (Elle Fanning), and Woody Guthrie (Scoot McNairy).

The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards at the 2025 Oscars, including Best Actor for Chalamet, ultimately winning none. But starting on March 27th, Hulu subscribers will be able to stream A Complete Unknown and see for themselves whether Chalamet should have edged out Adrian Brody for Best Actor or not.
